"I'm with you on being a vegetarian. My daughter and granddaughter became vegetarian about 2 1/2 years ago, when I moved in with them and up until that point,(for 60 years), I had eaten meat on a regular basis, especially beef. But moving in with them, and having to change my eating habits, (or buy a lot of extra food) I decided to try their way of eating. Well, I'm glad to say that it really made a change in my life. I not only lost weight (which was great for my diabetes), but I felt so much better physically. I also learned a lot about the cruelty to animals that is so unnecessary and horrible to even comprehend in this day and age. And our grocery bill was not any higher,(as I thought it would be), because what we didn't spend on meat, we spent on fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, soy products and nuts,etc. So,KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK you all have always done. I remember when PETA was in it's infancy and my aunt was a volunteer, working from home, many,many years ago, putting out newletters, and me, as a child, sitting there stuffing them in the envelopes, knowing I was helping the animals!!! What a great feeling that was, and I believe that is why today and for the last 50 years I have been such an animal lover!!! I've taken in many strays and my adult children have followed in my path.
