"I love my Peta Vegan College Cookbook. I'm a college student and only have a stove and microwave so it's super easy to make these recipes and they're so delicious and appealing. It's also easy for me to get the supplies for these meals! "

"I have to be honest, the book didn't stay open on it's own, there were no photos, some of the recipes weren't really recipes (like that granola/soy yogurt thing) and some of the recipes were just plain gross! I hope to see a sequel that makes up for these flaws."

"It's simple, pretty straight-forward and it's the best choice when all you have is a mini-fridge and a microwave. The whole "nuke" thing got old and annoying pretty fast though; it sounded like it was aimed at 15-year-olds. "

"I was really, really excited to get this because I am going to college next year, but when I recieved this in the mail yesterday I was very dissapointed. While some of the recipes I've tried have been good, other I don't think I'll even bother with because they are A)common sense things (i.e. grilled cheese, salsa, peanut butter sanwiches???) or B) too exspensive for a college student to make or C) all made with fake cheese, meats, or sour cream. If you really enjoy fake stuff, this is your cookbook, but if you really are a college student, you'll never be able to survive on a budget buying fake meats every week. & I personally don't like fake meats a lot, & I DEF. don't like them cooked in the microwave! The idea was great, but it needs some improvement."

"I bought this book to help me find more nutritious recipes, and I was very pleased. Very few of the recipes required expensive ingredients, and most of them could be made in about 10 minutes. My go-to snack HAS to be the Broke-Ass Cinnamon Rolls. Delicious!"

"I tried the Broke-Ass Cinnamon Rolls, and they came out wonderfully (would have been better with icing, but I was out of powdered sugar; 4 C. powdered sugar & 1/4 C. water). Some recipes were common sense, some were creative twists with everyday foods, and others were gems. A lot of recipes had fake meat, which I don't use, but those who do will love those recipes. Vegan dairy products (sour cream & cheese were two) were also used a lot. "

"Pictures would have made this book amazing! My imagination can only go so far. The overused bread, broccoli, and lettuce pictures weren't necessary if actual pictures of the stuff were there. Also some of the recipes are pretty obvious things.. ex: bagel and cream cheese recipe.. really? And you can't really say cheap with vegan foods, the products are quite expensive if even able to find around your area. It's like, why bring my broke ass's hopes up? Cool book though, besides that. I am enjoying it ^.^"
